Jay F. Lux is the Founder and CEO of New England Bungalows. He was educated at Northeastern University in Boston, MA, receiving a BSBA degree, magna cum laude. He also attended Bentley College in Waltham, MA receiving a Masters of Science in Finance.
His career includes positions in General Management, Financial Management, Marketing/Sales, and was the V.P. and owner of J. F. Lux Transportation. He has worked in the high technology, manufacturing, and logistics industries for both regional and Fortune 500 companies. He has been in home construction since 2001, and has renovated and built homes in Massachusetts and Florida.
Whether building in Massachusetts or Florida one thing was evident, nothing seemed to change. In MA, it was your typical Colonial, Cape, or Ranch style home, in FL, it was the Spanish Mediterranean that was found everywhere, and of course, both states have their versions of the McMansion.
Jay decided that a "Bungalow Style" would go well on in-fill lots around urban areas, and bring a refreshing change to the beautiful landscapes in New England.
"I searched the entire country to find a home designer that really understood the "Craftsman Bungalow" home. When I finally found the design team at The Bungalow Company, led by Christian Gladu, I knew I had found the designer and the home styles I was looking for." We are proud to be working with Christian and his team as we bring these beautiful homes to the people in New England.
