Jay Lux is the Founder and CEO of New England Bungalows. He attended Northeastern University in Boston, MA receiving a BSBA degree, magna cum laude. He is also as graduate of Bentley University in Waltham, MA where he received a Masters of Science in Finance.
His career includes positions in General Management, Financial Management, Marketing/Sales, and was the V.P. and co-owner of J. F. Lux Transportation. He has worked in the high technology, manufacturing, and the logistics industries for both regional and Fortune 500 companies. He has been in home construction since 2001, and has renovated and built homes in Massachusetts and Florida.
"Whether building in Massachusetts or Florida one thing was evident, nothing seemed to change. In MA, it was your typical Colonial, Cape, or Ranch style home, in FL, it was the Spanish Mediterranean that was found everywhere, and of course, both states have their versions of the McMansion."
Jay decided that a "Craftsman Bungalow Style" home would go well on in-fill lots around urban areas, or in the beautiful country landscapes of New England.
